As a group of quarantined college students from Koinonia Evangelical Church, we believe that—despite being stuck at home—there are still ways we can support our health care workers. With input from the community and health care workers, we’ve developed this website for the community to show their gratitude and for health care workers to be publicly appreciated. We are covered with blessings. We are #covidwithgratitude.

Contributing

Here’s how you can show your appreciation to our local health care workers.

  1. Read and agree to our Terms and Conditions

    Use the link at the bottom of our site to view them.

  2. Begin an email to covidwithgratitude@gmail.com and include the following information:

    1. Your name
    2. Your age
    3. Your city
    Note: If you are not of the age of majority in your province or territory of residence, then you must have your parent or legal guardian read these submissions requirements and our Terms and Conditions and agree to them for you before this submission. If you are under eighteen (18) years of age, we require the express consent of your parent or legal guardian for us to collect your personal information for the purposes of you using this Site.

  3. Attach your submission to the email.

    Some ideas: You could send
    • A picture with a description of how you’ve been physically distancing
    • A piece of artwork (with a caption) to show gratitude to our healthcare workers
    • A picture of a handwritten thank you note
    You can be creative, but take heed: Let’s keep the focus on appreciating our healthcare workers—all inappropriate submissions will NOT be posted!

  4. Choose where you want your submission to appear.

    The buildings have windows with numbers.
    That’s where your submission will be.
    Let us know what your top 3 choices are and we will try to accommodate.
    No promises, though.
  5. It may take us some time to upload your submission onto the website.
